Safety Cover - Bexhill, September 2025
Sunday 7th September 2025 we provided safety cover for the 1066 Triathlon sea swim at Bexhill. It's always an early start and just look at the sunrise, amazing. However, the sunrise does not show the challenges of the sea swim for the organisers and swimmers.
Having agreed some changes to swim distances and numbers of swimmers in 'a wave' the Triathlon started. The swimmers undertook the demanding conditions with determination and support from our safety cover.
Our safety team were outstanding. Well done to the organisers - First Stride Events (and the referee and marshals), all competitors and our members who accepted the challenges enthusiastically. Thanks also to Bexhill Rowing Club for their support to us.
